Gabrylly Ergonomic Mesh Office Chair review: What’s special about its design?

If you are a fan of mesh chairs, you’ll instantly fall in love at first sight with this Gabrylly office chair. In this Gabrylly Ergonomic Mesh Office Chair review, we will talk about its design first.

Appearance

It’s sleek enough to not eat up a lot of space in your home office. The color combination of black and the metallic gray at the back of the chair on the lumbar part gives the chair a distinction. It looks rather pleasing to the eyes.

Design details

The best mesh ergonomic office chair from Gabrylly has been created to support of your neck, shoulders, back and glutes, keeping your posture aligned while sitting.

The headrest can be adjusted in terms of height and angle, providing pin-point neck support.

However, the headrest is best suited to individuals who measure between 5’5″ and 6’2″.

The flip-up arms are ideal for seated twists and side stretches, which allow you to push the chair further in under the desk when work is done.

The spacious 20″ wide mesh seat will offer plenty of room to maneuver and also hold weight capacity of up to 280lbs. This make it an ideal choice when it comes to big and tall office chair.

Breathability

The mesh back and seat are also designed to keep the air circulating, making the Gabrylly Ergonomic Office Chair a cooling and comfy choice.

Although there are more durable materials out there than mesh, the specific material used here is actually very strong, and it’s great at resisting abrasion.

At the same time, this mesh is soft enough to keep you quite comfortable, yet also ridged enough to offer you support. It also won’t transform or warp over time.

Build quality

The chair seems pretty strong and robust from the base, the wheels, and up to the back of the chair.

Also, it doesn’t have many screws. For most parts of the chair, you just need to pop them in place.

The mesh material is also very strong. But, is mesh office chair good? Well, it offers full sport for your body.

Gabrylly Ergonomic Mesh Office Chair review: How can it help you improve your health?

The Gabrylly Ergonomic Mesh Office Chair is designed to provide plenty of space if you like to regularly stretch out as you work.

This means you can move the armrests back and enjoy a fully seated yoga sequence with sideways bends. That, plus spinal twists to keep your back, shoulders and neck feeling supple throughout the working day.

The Gabrylly Ergonomic Mesh Office Chair is also designed with ergonomic supporting points on the head, back, hips and hands. These help to boost your comfort and support during long periods of sitting, or to reduce pain or pressure in those parts of your body when sitting.

There’s a great deal of flexibility with the Gabrylly Ergonomic Mesh Office Chair, making it super-easy to get those desk yoga moves in.

The chair features an adjustable seat height, a tilt function, and lumbar support. It can be a bit limited when it comes to the scope of users as it won’t be able to sit those who are taller.

You can lock the tilt in position, but only on certain points. So it will feel a bit limited. Either you fit into that or not.

Armrests

The armrests are also adjustable and can also be folded. Though the arm can only be moved up and down, you also have an option to remove it altogether. This is absolutely a unique feature of the Gabrylly office chair.

Lumbar support

The lumbar support and seat depth are stationary. Though the lumbar support feels great for most users, you will not be able to customize it.

Seat pan

The seat pan may be too shallow. It did feel like there’s a huge hollow that you have to fill up.

You don’t have to worry about overheating while sitting in this chair as the breathable fabric keeps things cool.

Neck rest

Apart from the all-mesh material, the neck rest works well. It’s not like an add-on feature that you can do without. It is easy to adjust as well. All you just have to do is to turn the knob to control how forward you want your head to be pushed.

Caster wheels

Another feature is the quiet PU caster wheels. These wheels are very meek and will not squeak or cause any friction with your hardwood floors.

Gabrylly Ergonomic Mesh Office Chair review: Customer review

Here are some of the reviews from customers on Amazon. There are both positive and negative reviews about this product.

Positive reviews

MBA Squared: “Comfortable, quality, supportive, and stores in tight spaces.”

I ordered this office chair to fit in a specific tight space. I wanted something comfortable, but had resigned the idea of having a chair with arms. Whatever I used in that spot had to fit completely under the desk, otherwise, I would never be able to access the closet behind the desk.
I searched looking for a chair with low arms or no arms both locally and online. Chairs with this feature tend to be not that nice, not comfortable, so I refused to settle. It was luck that I discovered this option, as I did not know the flip up arms was an option. It’s definitely a space saver, and there have been times I have wanted the arms out of my way so its also a functional benefit.
Comfort wise, this chair is top notch. Its supportive, it reclines, and the height adjusts. The fabric is breathable and comfortable mesh. The materials, including the bearings are all very high quality. I have cats so being constructed from a material that does not attract dust and cat hair is a benefit.
Assembly was a breeze. The instructions were well written and the box even included screwdriver that is quality enough to add to your tool bag. It also comes with extra hardware, which is always appreciated.

Christopher L. Dulawan: “Cheaper than Herman Miller, almost as nice. Larger seat than cheaper models.”

I got spoiled by a Herman Miller chair at work. I’ve been putting up with some cheapo cloth and foam computer desk chair for years. Now that I’m a bit older, and do some work at home, I needed more comfort and support, this chair works for what I need and it didn’t cost me $800. Granted this one isn’t as adjustable, and the lumbar support isn’t pronounced, but it is soooo much better than what I had. It might be difficult for some to put together, as it can a bit heavy for one person, but the weight also contributes to the “well-made” feeling once put together. The best thing about this chair is the size of the seat, which full supports my butt, and back of my thighs, all the way to the back of my knees. The neck support is nice too, but I could see some being irritated with the limited positioning… It can be removed

Negative reviews

Scott Anson: “Not good for shorter people.”

Doesn’t work for my wife, she’s 5’0. I’m 5’8″ and it barely works for me. The seat is too deep, and so if you sit with your back against the back rest, it digs into the backs of your knees. For my wife, she can’t even bend her legs if she tries to sit back on it. It seems there’s no way to adjust this. Disappointed with the purchase, but not an easy return, and we already recycled the boxes.

Alicia_Li: “Defective item, chair height is not adjustable!!!”

I received a defective item, the height of the chair is NOT adjustable. Then I directly contact customer service about the issue. But they replied me the instruction video of how to adjust the height. YES I followed the instruction to try hundred of times, but failed anyway. I would like to know how to fix it as they mentioned in the booklet if the height is not adjustable could send email to them. In the following 5 emails, they keep teaching and sending me the same video/ instructions of HOW to adjust height of the chair, even though I responded each time that I DO know how to adjust and follow the instructions but it is just not adjustable. The issue of the chair itself is not solved at all, but feel like they treat me—an office lady who use adjustable chair at work everyday—like a silly person who don’t know how to adjust the height of the chair! Actually they don’t listen what you are talking about or trust you received a defective product, but believing you don’t know how to use the chair.

Bottom line

The Gabrylly Ergonomic Mesh Office Chair has been created to support of your neck, shoulders, back and glutes

If you’re looking for a roomy chair that gives you the option to stretch out throughout your working day, the Gabrylly Ergonomic Mesh Office Chair is a solid option. However, keep in mind that it isn’t suitable for all heights, and you may need to look elsewhere if you’re tall.

The mesh fabric will provide plenty of cooling clout during the hotter months spent working in your office or at home.

What we love the most about this chair is the versatility on offer with the fold-back armrests.

The Gabrylly Ergonomic Mesh Office Chair is a good choice if you want to properly stretch, which should lead to less aches and pains overall.
